Study: 30% Of Patients With Heart Failure May Have Anxiety Or Depression

According to studies, 30% of patients with heart failure have also symptoms of anxiety and depression, which have a high risk of worsening their cardiovascular condition. In heart failure, the heart is unable to pump enough blood, resulting in symptoms such as fatigue and shortness of breath. Also, 13% of patients with heart failure have anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
