This Is The Reason Why Blood Pressure Increases In Elder People    




There is a reason why blood pressure increases as we age. Our blood vessels lose elasticity, due to the changes in the connective tissue of the blood vessel wall. The capillary walls also thicken, reducing the exchange of nutrients. Also, there are receptors that monitor the blood pressure and compensate it when the person changes positions.
